On May 28, 2026, the gold mining company BASS Gold LLP held an Open Day at the Ushshoky deposit in the Ulytau region. Among the honored guests is Akim of Ulytau region Dastan Ryspekov.

The Kurban Ait holiday became a special occasion for BASS Gold LLP to open the gates of the mine for the guests. The Open Day was attended by representatives of the business community, government agencies and the media. A special guest of the event was Akim of Ulytau region Dastan Ryspekov, who personally got acquainted with the production facilities and infrastructure of the enterprise.

Akim Dastan Ryspekov made a complete tour of the key facilities of the field, accompanied by the company's management.

The visit of the head of the region highlighted the strategic importance of the project for the Ulytau region and confirmed the state's interest in the development of the mining industry in the region.

Administrative-Household Complex: world-class comfort in the heart of the steppe

The special attention of the guests was attracted by the new administrative and household complex, built using modular technology using the best international experience. The complex is designed to accommodate 250 people at a time and includes separate residential blocks, a dining room, a gym, a medical center and a conference room.

The walls of the outer perimeter are 150 mm thick with reinforced insulation — modular structures have been tested in extreme climatic conditions, from Siberian frosts to African heat. The infrastructure includes Starlink satellite Internet, an access control system, and will soon be complemented by a fiber-optic network.

Unitree robot: automation of production inspections

The guests were presented with a demonstration of an industrial robot based on the Unitree Robotics platform. The BASS Gold team independently developed a specialized software package that transformed the robot from a demonstration device into a full-fledged automation tool: autonomous movement along routes, point cloud collection, photo and video monitoring, and data transfer to corporate IT systems.

For management, a web interface has been implemented with the functions of building 2D and 3D maps, configuring routes and programming missions - all this in remote access mode from the operator's workplace.

The completion of the flotation processing line last year brought BASS Gold to a fundamentally new level of production.

Celebration and recognition: After the guided tour of the sites, the guests gathered for a gala dinner in the yurt in honor of the Eid al-Adha holiday. The founder of the company, Chingiz Sadvakasov, and the acting Executive Director, Yerlan Sadvakasov, presented letters of thanks to the employees for their contribution to the development of the company. The program ended with a festive concert part with a performance by musicians of the Ulytau region.
